Show Alpha Theta Chapter ESA holds meeting Reports, plans and discussions discus-sions took up the time at the meeting of the Alpha Theta chapter of ESA sorority, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, at the home of Mrs. Kent Rowe, president. Mrs. Wayne Shurtleff and Mrs. George White reported on welfare projects and it was decided de-cided that the chapter would take one cottage at the Utah State Training School at American Am-erican Fork. Mrs. Larry Rayburn discussed discus-sed the $50 gift certificate which the group is giving away at the Springville J.C. Penney store August 19, to raise funds for their activities. Other reports were given by Mrs. Jerry Argyle, educational chairman on chapter history, trends and rituals. The by-laws were read and discussed and Mrs. Don Long, social chairman, chair-man, reported on plans for a steak fry. Three members of the Alpha Zeta chapter, Salt Lake City, visited the meeting, which was concluded with refreshments. |
