Show Playhouse group makes new plans Officers and members of the board of directors of Springville Playhouse discussed plans for the year's work, at a meeting Monday evening, at the home of Janet C. Bird. President Woodrow Weight led in the discussion of plans for the theater-in-the-rouno., which is to occupy space in the basement of the Civic Center. Plans were also made for the Playhouse production for fall, which will be under direction of Mrs. Bird. It is hoped to stage it at the new location. Attending the meeting were besides Mr. Weight and Mrs. Bird, Merle Schreiner, Gladys Goates, Jay Newman, Verl Dal-lin Dal-lin and Louise Springer. The United States has a total to-tal of 27,480 miles of inland waterways. |
