Show BYU posts 1967 basketball slate It doesn't include a South America trip or another berth in the NTT, but Brigham Young University's 1966-67 basketball schedule will feature coast-to-coast1 road games, plus a "contest "con-test with the NCAA defending champions, Texas Western. The 24-game slate announced announ-ced Monday by University of-' ficials contains a berth in the eight-team field of this year's Holiday Festival in New York City. In addition to BYU, the Holiday Holi-day Festival entries include Northerwestern, Duquesne, Rhode, Island, St. Bonadven-ture, Bonadven-ture, St. John's, St. Joseps's and defending champion Providence. Big as the Holiday tournament tourna-ment will be, it may not be the biggest item on the Cougar schedule. On Jan. 27-28 BYU will participate in a triple-header triple-header series in Chicago Stadium. Sta-dium. In the first round BYU will tangle with Texas Western, West-ern, the NCAA defending champions. In the second round the Cougars will face Loyola of Chicago. Also included in the Chicago Stadium series will be UCLA, a sure bet to be one of the favorites fav-orites for basketball honors next season.
