Show Club members hear about United Fund Purpose and operation of the United Fund in Utah County were explained by Harrison Conover, vice president and a member of the organization board, at a meeting of the Companions Club Thursday evening of last week. Mrs. Lynn Brown was hostess. Included in information presented pre-sented at the meeting were facts and figures on where and how the United Funds are spent. Mr. Conover told the group that $75,000 was given to the Utah County Boy Scouts. Most of the money is spent in Utah County, he noted. no-ted. Mary Martindale introduced the speaker. President Norma Jenkins presided over short business. The hostess served lunch and the next meeting was announ-! ced for Oct. 21, at the home of Onieta Sumsion.
