Chicken Paprika . 2 packages (1 pound each) 1 teaspoon salt frozen chicken parts, 2 tablespoons hot water thawed 1 can (10 ounces) cup flour chicken gravy cup shortening teaspoon lemon juice cup minced onion Pinch grated lemon rind 2 teaspoons paprika cup sour cream Dust chicken with flour. In skillet, brown chicken in shortening shorten-ing with onion. Sprinkle chicken with paprika and salt; add hot water. Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender, stirring now and then. Stir in chicken gravy, lemon juice, lemon rind; heat. Fold in sour cream. Makes 4 to 6 servings. 1 |
