Show Patrice Munsel will star in musical hit Patrice Munsel will star in the role of Ensign Nellie For-bush For-bush when "South Pacific" opens at Valley Music Hall next Monday evening, Sept. 27. This Pulitzer prize-winning all-time all-time musical hit is another Le-Roy Le-Roy Prinz production, presented present-ed in association with Robert C. Schuler. Returning for his second starring role at Valley Music Hall is Bob Wright, appearing as Emile de Becque; he made his Salt Lake debut as Petru-chio Petru-chio in "Kiss Me Kate." Comedy star of Valley Music Mus-ic Hall's newest production is Benny Baker who went to Las Vegas to play Luther Billis in South Pacific and stayed on for two years. Virginia Jaeger and Victoria Young are also featured in this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Patriot Munsel has starred in all seven major fields of the entertainment world: opera, television, radio, concerts, the legitimate theatre, movies and Las Vegas. She first gained recognition when she made her Metropolitan Opera debut at the age of seventeen; her spectacular spec-tacular lyric coloratura voice, rare acting ability and outstanding out-standing good looks all helped her to launch a successful career ca-reer when still in her teens. Fifty-two per cent of U.S. adults have never been more than 200 miles away from home. The South American bellbird sings one repeated note which can be heard about a mile away. |
