Show Hew division head named Owen W. Morris, formerly District Agent in charge of the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife's Branch of Predator Pre-dator and Rodent Control in Utah, has been named IState Supervisor of the newly-created Division of Wildlife Services, Serv-ices, it was announced by Regional Re-gional Director John C. Gatlin. The change, part of an extensive exten-sive reorganization of the Department De-partment of the Interior's wildlife wild-life agency, is already in effect. Although changes made by the reorganization are far reaching in their effects upon the functioning of the Bureau of Sport Fisheries and Wildlife, State Supervisor Morris pointed point-ed out that the livestock industry in-dustry in Utah need not fear any curtailment of this Division's Divis-ion's activities in the control of nuisance animals. Mr. Morris quoted Secretary of the Interior Inter-ior Udall in saying, "We have no intention of abandoning our responsibility in the control of damage by pest species when it is clear that the Department's Depart-ment's assistance is needed." "Although his organization will receive added duties in such fields as pesticide surveillance surveil-lance and wildlife enhancement work, they will continue to carry out their responsibilities in the field of predatory animal control in cooperation with state and local agencies, just as in the past," Morris stated. Bride to new husband: "There you are, darling, my first meal cooked just the way you'd better like it." Chicago Chi-cago Daily News. |
