Show Seals compete with Scera team in swim meet from 8-12 today f ; - ' : David Lynn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lynn, won a bronze medal at the invitational invita-tional AAU swimming meet last Saturday at Clearfield. Springville Seals swimming team will host the Orem pad-dlers pad-dlers at Park Ro She beginning begin-ning at 8 p.m. today. The meet will run throughout the entire morning. Bleachers will be available at the outside pool at Park Ro She where the meet will be held and townsfolk are given a special invitation to watch the young swimmers. Place in meet For the first time, the Seals came up with a very creditable showing in an official AAU meet held last Saturday at Clearfield. Coashes Sterling Van Wagnen and Douglas Stevenson and their swimming club came up with 13 ribbons and one bronze medal to place sixth in the meet. Some 200 swimmers competed in the various var-ious events. Winning a bronze medal, which represents third place, was David Lynn, promising young swimmer and son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lynn. He won the medal in the butterfly competition. Springville swimmers who placed in the meet were as follows: fol-lows: Girls 11-12 Medley Relay, Re-lay, Cheryl Lynn, Peggy Cox, Debby Cox, Joyce Lovell, 4th place; Boys 13-14 Medley relay, David Lynn, Roger Ollerton, Dennis Goble, Chris Thorn, 4th place; girls 11-12 butterfly, butter-fly, Peggy Cox, 6th; boys 11-12, 11-12, butterfly, Steven Cox, 5th; girls 11-12 individual medley relay, Debby Cox, 5th; boys 11-12 individual medley relay, Steven Cox, 4th; boys 13-14 individual medley relay, David Lynn, 6th; girls 13-14 breast stroke, Joyce Lovell, 6th; boys 13-14 free style, David Lynn, 6th; girls 11-12 free style relay, re-lay, Cheryle Lynn, Wendy Robinson, Rob-inson, Jan Ollerton, Peggy Cox, 4th; boys 13-14 free style relay, Roger Ollerton, Scott Robinson, David Lynn, Dennis Goble, 6th.
