Show Citizens invited to Provo fete Provo is again inviting townspeople to join them in their Fourth of July celebration. celebra-tion. The schedule of events is as follows: July 1, today, carnival carni-val begins, bazaars and booths open; children's parade at 7 p.m., on Center Street, 8th E. to 1st East. There will be a patriotic service ser-vice Sunday, 6 p.m., at the Field House with Guy D. Newman, New-man, president Howard Paine College, speaker. The main parade will be Monday, July 5, 9:30 a.m., University Un-iversity Ave. and Center St. from 1st E. to 9th E. and in the evening at 8:15 p.m., the Panorama Spectacular, at BYU Btadium. |
