Show Cotniny Events . . Cub Scout meet The monthly Cub Scout Roundtable for Cub leaders in Springville and Mapleton will be held Wednesday June 16, at 7:30 p.m. at the outdoor fireplace fire-place next to the Junior High Seminary Building. A social hour is planned. Bring dishes. In case of rain, meet in the Junior Sunday School at the stake house. Benjamin Homecoming Rodeo fans will enjoy an entertaining evening, Saturday, June 12 in Benjamin, when Arrowhead Riding Club stages their annual Homecoming Rodeo. Ro-deo. Grand entry time is 8:00 p.m. at the Arrowhead arena. Calf-roping, steer riding, team tying and wild cow milking are some of the events highlighting highlight-ing this amateur rodeo which promises to be one of the best of its kind for this season. Flag Day service The Provo Elks Lodge No. 849 will conduct Flag Day services ser-vices at the Elks Home, 48 So., 100 West, Provo, Monday June 14. The patriotic program will begin at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Exalted Ruler Durward L. Nelson. Speaker will be Bowman O. Barlow and musical selections will be presented pre-sented by the Provo Chapter of the Sweet Adelines. The service is open to the public. Shrine Circus The Utah Shriners are sponsoring spon-soring their annual benefit circus at Dirk's Field, Salt Lake City, June 24, 25 26, featuring fea-turing a number of imported acts. Performances are scheduled sched-uled twice daily at 3 and 8 p.m. |
