Show Club hears fine book review Alpha Beta club members were guests of Mrs. H. T. Reynolds, Rey-nolds, Jr., at her home Friday afternoon of last week with Mrs. Tom Smith, president, in charge. The program featured Mrs. Berton Groesbeck in a review of the book, "When the Cheering Cheer-ing Stopped," which tells of the life of President Woodrow Wilson while he served as president. Group singing was led by Mrs. Earl Condie, accompanied by Mrs. Sterling Price and Mrs. Earl Goates in keeping with the Americanism month, gave George Washington's prayer for the United States. Next meeting of the club was announced for March 5, to be at the home of Mrs. Sterling Ster-ling Price. The hostess served lunch at the close of the meeting, assisted as-sisted by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Taylor Reynolds and her daughter Sydney. I |
