Show Home Culture Club hears about federation Mrs. W. G. Biestnger was the speaker at the meeting of the Home Culture Club Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Alma Miner. She discussed the advantages of affiliating with federation and noted among other things, that a program chairman should be ' appointed a year in advance to take advantage ad-vantage of federation program ( material. She also described various projects which the national federation has initiated including includ-ing the Statue of Liberty base and surroundings. The club collect was read by Mrs. Martin Conover. Mrs. C. W. Judd, program chairman, presided at the meeting which was attended by 14 members. The hostess served a nicely arranged lunch at the close of the program. Next meeting was announced for March 5, to be at the home of Mrs. Gwen Baxter, when new officers will be elected and Mrs. Harold Christensen will talk on the proper use of natural na-tural resources. The young do a lot of wishful wish-ful thinking; their elders a lot of thoughtful wishing. |
