Mrs. Carter chose turquoise for her daughter's reception and Mrs. Swenson, rose pink. Their corsages were pink feathered fea-thered carnations. John Oldroyd was best man and Donald K. Carter and David Da-vid Gill were ushers. Serving were Donna Digidio, Karen and Diane Whipple, Gay Lynn Back and Lorna Bird. Mrs. Richard Whipple and Mrs. Vernon K. Back arranged arrang-ed the gifts and Eunice Richardson Rich-ardson and Mrs. Carl Vernon were at the guest register. Returning from a wedding trip to California, newlyweds Mr .and Mrs. Harold E. Swenson, Swen-son, will make a new home in Provo, where both are employed. em-ployed. Mrs. Swenson is the former Miss Sandra Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Carter of Springville. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Roger Farrer of Provo. Following their marriage, the couple was honored at a garden reception at the Farrer Far-rer home. For her wedding, the bride was attractively gowned in white nylon crepe over tafetta with French lace trim. It was designed with long pointed sleeves, fitted bodice and floor-length floor-length skirt which fell into a semi-train. Her butterfly veil was arranged to a rose tierra with tiny .pearl droplets and she carried a bridal bouquet of orchid-colored roses centered with an orchid. Mr3. Ronald K. Carter was matron of honor with Cheryl Carter, maid of honor and Ruth Ann Thomas, Loretta Moser, Ora Lee Lunberg and Mrs. David Gill, bridesmaids. They wore full-length gowns of orchid tafetta brocade accented by elbow-length gloves, white mums and orchid-colored roses. Julie Carter was flower girl MRS. HAROLD E. SWENSON, the former Miss Sandra Carter, wed recently, will make new home in Provo. |
