Jaycee Wives hold first annual dinner meeting during week The Sage Inn was the setting set-ting Wednesday night for the first annual dinner meeting of the Jaycee Wives. Sixteen members and guests sat at tables ta-bles decorated with red and white flowers with small white poodle dog favors holding up place cards. President, Ann Richardson, took charge of the meeting, outlining future activities,, af- terwhich a delicious ham dinner din-ner was enjoyed by all. The program was furnished by Pat Conover. She presented "Pedifacts," a clever history of shoe fashions down through the ages. Her talk was accented ac-cented by original illustrations of the different footwear designs de-signs during various periods. Current shoe fashions from Clark's, Provo, highlighted the evening. Guests attending were Paula Jones and Sherrie Wheeler, past presidents, and Dorothy Huff and Shirley Johnson of Spanish Fork. New members in attendance included Judy Dalton an,"! Myrna Jeffers. President Ann announced that new color captains would be Judy Dalton, LaRene Peay, Myrna Jeffers and Sandra Snow. Mrs. Josie Alleman spent a few days visiting relatives and friends in Springville and Salt Lake City, returning to her home in Monterey Park, Calif., Thursday. While in Springville, she was the house guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alleman. |
