Show Bowling slated CEDAR CITY Bowling enthusiasts will have a chance to turn their skills into money at the Fourth Annual Miller National Doubles Tournament. The tournament is open to all amateur bowlers and is a team event. Teams may consist of two women, two men or a man and a woman. The entry fee is $7 per team plus the cost of the bowling. Alpine Lanes will host bowlers for the qualifying and state finals. The qualifying round must be played between n now and Dec. 18, and bowlers may bowl as many times as they want in it. Alpine Lanes is host to the local qualifying round and in addition will host the state finals beginning Jan. 8 and 9. Alpine Lanes manager David Chatfield mentioned the tournament tour-nament will bring in bowlers from all over the state. The Miller National Doubles Tournament is the richest amateur tournament in the country. One of the features of the tournament tour-nament is- that bowlers may use their handicap scores in the tournament. All bowlers interested are encouraged to participate. par-ticipate. I |
