Rolling Rubber jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning and scored another in the third. Eric Woolsey singled and scored for Coke's first run in the bottom of the fourth and then Rolling Rubber came back to score two more in the sixth giving them nine runs. Down by eight runs, the Coke team managed to score two in the bottom of the sixth when Shawn Marchant singled and Rick Thomas got on due fielder's choice. But the seventh inning was all Coke's as the Coke team started hitting. hit-ting. Jimmy Ferguson, Cleve Weaver, Thomas and Woolsey all singled and scored. Mike Evans got on Base on an interference in-terference call and scored. Dave Krueger pitcher Bruce Reber singled and then Ferguson was intentionally in-tentionally walked to load the bases. With two out, Weaver came to bat and walloped out a double to bring in two runs for a final score of 10-9. TWA picked up two wins last week as they defeated Parowan 15-7 and won by a forfeit from Delecol Darren Cole and Troy Black shared the mound for the winners, win-ners, and Cole led the hitting with a triple. Doubles were credited to Jeff Hancock, Richard Roundy and Coy Bryant; while Joe Spencer, Tim Starkey and Roundy singled. Hitters for Parowan were B. Bentley with a two Bagger and Damon Green and M. Austin with base hits. UP&L picked up another win via Deleco's forfeit and State Bank got two big wins. Early in the week, State Bank overcame Coke 9-5 with Kenny Davis going the distance on the mound. Brian Poteet led the scoring effort with a triple while singles were nabbed by Kurt Anderson, An-derson, Richard Barton, David Hart and Larin Taylor.
