Show Thomas J. Pearce THOMAS J. PEARCE, age 75, died June 18, 1982 in the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City. He was born July 25, 1906 in St. George to Daniel Nelson and Delia Riding Pearce. He married Alta Vilo Davis in the St. George LDS Temple on March 28, 1929. Pearce worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the. LDS church. Survivors include his wife, Alta, of New Harmony; Har-mony; two sons and two daughters; Jerrold D. and Jay W., both of Las Vegas, Nevada ; Mrs. John V. (Avey) Davis of Cedar City; Mrs. Richard L. (Vera Cripps of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; grand-children; one brother and two sisters: Hale Pearce, Mrs, Zetta Stucki and Mrs. Helen Barker, aH of St. George. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the New Harmony Ward Chapel with Bishop Joseph Walker officiating. of-ficiating. Family prayer was offered by Robert H. Pearce. Marilyn Perry rendered the prelude and postlude music. Marion Prince gave the invocation, in-vocation, followed by Vern and Ruth Winn singing "Whispering Hope". John P. Davis gave a tribute followed by Carolyn Kleinman singing "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine". Other speakers included Vivian Prince, Verly Kelsey and Bishop Walker. The New Harmony Har-mony Relief Society Sisters sang "Prayer is the Soul'Sincere Desire" and Bruce Bleak sang "When My Blue Moon Turns to Gold Again." D.J. Worthen sang "Now is the Hour" followed by Howard Huntsman offering the benediction on the services. ser-vices.
