Show OUTLINE GIVEN OF 4THPR0GRAM A tentative general outline of the Fourth of July program to be held here this year under the sponsorship of the Bingham Volunteer Vol-unteer Fire Department with support of the Bingham District Activity Fund, was announced this week by Harold Chesler, general chairman of this year's cel&bration. Starting off the 4th festivities will be a free street dance at the mouth of the tunnel from 8:30 to 11 pjn. on the night of the Third. Activities on the Fourth (Wednesday) (Wed-nesday) will get underway at 9:30 a.m. with under teens races which will be followed toy a free show. A teen tournament will be held at 1:30 p.m., and there will be a ball game between Midvale and the BDAA nine at Copper-ton Copper-ton at 4:00 p.m. Also there will oe special aauit races and contests. con-tests. At 9:30 p.m. for the very first time, there will be a lireworks display, place to be announced. A public dance will be held at the Civic Center at' 10 a.m. There will be free treats for the young folks ice cream, pop corn, etc. . Besides Mr. Chesler, other members of the committee are: Lawrence West,- W. H. Harris, JRoss M. Cushing, Bob Jimas, jTheron Hickman, Vincent Miola and Evan Miiler. Plan to spend the 4th in Bingham. Bing-ham. A variety program is being airanged. |
