Show Variety show at SUSC set for Thursday "Three Hits and a Miss." "The homecoming committee invites the community to visit SUSC during homecoming, to participate in activities which end Saturday with the parade at 10 a.m., football game at 1 p.m., ev the alumni banquet p.m. and 'hi homecoming dance at ' CEDAR CITY Follies, a variety show extravaganza of Southern Utah State College talent, will be Thursday at SUSC. The program will begin at 8 p.m. in the Thorley Recital Hall according to Laurel Thompson, program chairwoman, and the public is invited to attend free of charge. "Follies has become an important part of SUSC's homecoming celebration," cele-bration," Thurston, a sophomore art major from Cedar City, said. "It's being held for the third consecutive year, y and is sure to be a real crowd pleaser for students, alumni and friends of the college." Don Marchant, immediate im-mediate past president of the SUSC Alumni Association, will serve us master of ceremonies. A sampling of program numbers includes musical selections by the SUSC Jazz Ensemble, a magic act by SUSC magician-faculty member mem-ber Richard A. Dotson, talent numbers by the winners of Miss SUSC and Mr. SUSC pageants and special selections by the group |
