Show Parowan High School Homecoming a success By WENDY WEBB AND LISA HANKS Record Correspondents Homecoming at Parowan High School was a smashing success, culminating with a victory over East Carbon High School Friday night. The activities were kicked off Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon with a powder puff football game plyed by the PHS girls. The winning team was coached by Chad Robinson, one of the captains of the boy's football team. Wednesday night the homecoming queen and royalty were crowned, with Colette Adams as queen, Lori Robinson as first attendant and Marianne Hulet as second attendant. and Crazy, Ann Hollinger and Dan Carter; Best Dancer, Marianne Hulet and Fred Baker; Biggest Flirt, Julie Wright and Dan Rex; Mr. and Mrs. Stud, Dan Rex and Misti Bentley; Most Shy, Lori Lowder and Keven Whicker; Funniest Laugh, Julie Wright and HiromitsuOnodera; Most Likely to Succeed, Jill Turner and Mitch Pendleton; Pen-dleton; and Cutest Couple, Brady Smith and Wendy Webb, Cindy White and Randy Robinson. In the teachers category winners were Best Body, Coach Cahoun and Coach Heppler; Most Spirited, Coach Doubek; Best Dressed, Leilani Bentley; Wild and Crazy, Nancy Wilson; Most Likeable, Mr. Rogers and Mr. Dalley; and Homework Happy, Coach Heppler. Thursday night there was a snake dance down Main Street. A pep rally followed, and the classes did skits and had yell competition. The winners win-ners of the skit competition com-petition were the sophomores with the juniors in second and the seniors third. The freshmen had the winning yell, the eighth graders came in second and the seniors came in third. After the competitions com-petitions there was a traditional burning of the outhouse. Friday was a very big day. After school there was a parade down Main Street. The juniors had the winning float, with the spirit club entry getting second place and the sophomores taking third. That night was the football game with East Carbon. The final score was 12-6 in overtime, with the Rams enjoying a victory. The Parowan Rammettes marched during half time, ' and there was a dance after the game, with live music by Souled-Out. The studentbody voted on and awarded the following : Most Spirited went to Lori Robinson and Mitch Pendleton; Best Dressed to Colette Adams and Kelly Orton; Best Hair, Carol Hanks and Neil Orton; Cutest Legs, Jayley Turner and Robbie Stevens; Best Eyes, Denise Little and Scott Farrow; Best Body, Debbie Allen and Renato Matheson; Best Personality, Per-sonality, Nicole Barton and Gordon Mortenson; and Cutest Smile, Tawna Heap and Todd Robinson. Other awards were Driftiest, Cindy Batt and Wallace Henderson; Wild The Parowan High School crowd cheers during the overtime game last week against East Carbon.
