Show Strange but true football facts Do you remember the last time you saw an SUSC game end in a tie? Well, unless you made the long trip to Klamath Falls, Oregon, in 1964, you've never seen the Thunderbirds kiss their own sister. vJThat's right; it has been 149 games (17 years) since SUSC battled bat-tled Oregon Tech to a 7-7 draw. In that game, Head Coach Bruce Osborne was in the i spotters' booth with a broken leg, while Assistant Coach Boyd Adams handled things on the field. As a four-year college, SUSC has either come out a w inner .or a loser in 164 of 165 contests. Last season's 38-37 loss to Cal Poly Pomona marked the most points SUSC has ever scored in a losing el fort. ( The old record came in 1068 when a Tom Kingsl ord-coached team scored 32 points against Western New Mexico, but lost by giving up 53 counters. |
