Show Police probe two burglaries warrants are from out of state and their whereabouts at this time are unknown. The police reported that pills and capsules allegedly found during the search numbered over 100. Entry into the unit was through a rear window during the night-time hours. In an unrelated incident, in-cident, three arrest warrants have been issued as a result of a search warrant being served earlier this month at the Village Apartments, Apart-ments, room 225. Detective Houchen reported that the search warrant served Jan. 16 netted four ounces of marijuana, a number of baggies of suspected amphetamines and numerous items of paraphernalia commonly used in ingesting controlled con-trolled substances. Class B misdemeanor warrants have been issued in Ninth Circuit Court for the arrest of Randy Hamilton, Joseph Polanski and Robert Woodberry in connection with controlled substances sub-stances allegedly found in the apartment. Apparently, all three men named in the arrest Cedar City police are investigating two storage-unit burglaries that occurred on two successive nights this week. Approximately 20 storage units at 1150 West 700 North were broken into sometime Tuesday night when burglars cut through padlocks and lock hasps. Police are still uncertain at this time about what was taken from the units and are in the process of contacting the people who rented the individual storage compartments, com-partments, f Detective Houchen stated that a wide variety of personal, automotive, and household items were found in the ransacked units and expects it will take considerable time to have all the victims list what is missing. At this point Detective Houchen estimates the loss could be minimal but could also be in the thousands of dollars. On Wednesday night the Rocky Mountain Company was the victim of another storage unit burglary at 1400 North Main Street. The only loss known from that break-in was a telephone recording device. |
