Show Local named to MX position The Four County MX Policy Board's choice as the new assistant MX .coordinator is a name well-known to most residents of Cedar City. Phil Robison, 34, director of development and alumni relations at Southern Utah State College, announced his acceptance of the post Monday morning. The new assistant coordinator had been serving at his SUSC post for the previous two years, heading up the college's fundraising efforts. Before that time he served as the institution's in-stitution's coordinator of housing. Robison, a native of Fillmore, attended SUSC for two years before gaining bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Utah. He graduated in political science with an emphasis in state and local government from the U of U, and also holds othe equivalent ); of a, , bachelors in economics. His masters work was in business administration. "I'm looking forward to the position," said Robison," shortly after announcing his decision. "I'm going to do my best to help southern Utah shape its destiny." Robison said he accepted ac-cepted the newly-created position because it "more closely fits my professional training." MX Coordinator Ralph Starr said Robison's post would be "primarily management and administratively ad-ministratively oriented." He expected Robison to deal mostly with management of the , Policy Board's Cedar City office, "fiscal and accounting procedures and public information duties." It is expected that Starr will continue to do most of the Policy Board's traveling, primarily to Washington, D.C. and San Francisco meetings, while Robison will mostly . ; work the souern ytahj area. |
