Show Proclamation corrected Several errors have been detected in the 1980 Big Game Proclamation. Corrections in the proclamation are: 1. Wellsville 5-Day Notice Deer Hunt (No. 201) -The unit boundary should read: . "That portion of Box Elder County lying within the following" "described boundary: beginning at the junction of Highways 1-15 and U.S. 89-91 near Brigham City; thence northerly along 1-15 to the Utah-Idaho state line; thence east along this state line to the Box Elder-Cache County line; thence southerly along this county line to U.S. 89- 91; thence westerly along this road to 1-15, point of beginning. 2. Manti Hunter's ChoiceElkHunKNo. 329) - The Unit boundary should read: Those portions of Sanpete and Emery counties lying within the following described boundary: beginning at the Orangeville-Ephraim (U-29) (U-29) and Cottonwood Canyon roads; thence west along U-29 to the Lowry Water road; thence . north along this road past Potter's Ponds to Potter's Canyon; thence west along the Potter's Canyon Road to the Skyline Drive Road; thence northerly along this road to Highway U-31; U-31; thence east along U-31 to the. Millers Flat Road; thence south along this road to the Cottonwood Canyon Road; thence southeasterly along this road to U-29,, point of beginning. 3. Chalk Creek Bull Moose Hunt (No. 501) -This unit is comprised primarily of private property. Snake Valley (No. 401) and Riverbed (No. 400) Buck Antelope Hunt --The hunt numbers of these units are incorrect on the proclamation map. The map shows Snake Valley as hunt number 400 and Riverbed as hunt number 401. The hunters should remember to use the hunt numbers listed in the legal description of the area, not those numbers listed on the antelope map when filling out their applications for the Snake Valley and Riverbed hunts. |
