Show Had to be out of town for the opening of the football foot-ball sea-son, so didn't get to see the thriller at Milford, or the Beaver power. But we should be on hand for the rest of the season and now things begin to get serious. The Rams visit Milford this week and may be a different dif-ferent ball club if they have recovered from the Kanab slaughter. The Tigers need, to be up for every game, but have the talent to give any team a tussle. It ought to be the game of the week, and even the northern teams will be watching the outcome. out-come. 0 - We'd have given about anything any-thing to have seen the jubi-lent jubi-lent Tigers after Laney Johnson's 83 yard touchdown touch-down with just 20 seconds left on the clock. Heard he took the long way, running run-ning back and forth across the field, probably taking ' 150 yards to get the 83 to pay dirt. Laney gets the credit for the TD, but we've heard a superb block by David Gay, taking out two Mustangs cleared the way. On' MX he said, "It will be built and it's got to go someplace." We suspect that someplace will be in the Great Basin. - 0 - Noting that White House leaks indicated that the underground un-derground railroad and race track were out for MX, Air Force spokesmen said last Thursday, "We're glad that the administration has finally fin-ally caught up with the Air Force. We dumped the underground railway years ago and the racetrack has been out for months." 0 - It's municipal election time this year, and parties should be recruiting candidates. candi-dates.
