Show i ""C ROBERTA CONDE The bad penny has return- ' ed! The months have rushed by fast and things were done, but now no one can remember what , happened. So we shall start as of now. On the 27th . of February, there was a big dance held . j at the school In Partown. j The school children tooted i the very dancable music. j Fox trot, fast and slow ones j and ballroom dancing. The i young people so enjoyed the i ballroom type dance that they j now have a class to teach It. i More good times planned for j the future. Chicago was host for Dave Eldrldge, Dan Baker, Bak-er, and Owen and Pat Gond-er. Gond-er. They were Invited back there by Jett Carpenter, who Is now" working there. A good fling, with food, talk, lots of eyeballlng the tall j buildings and all those people. peo-ple. Also on the go were Chester Ches-ter and Lorene Wheeler, Daisy and Emerson Gonder, Mollle and Wayne Gonder, Mollle's sister passed away In Idaho, so this was a sad trip. Darwin Wheeler was getting get-ting supplies in Salt Lake, so Jeannie and the gals stayed stay-ed here and took care of the store. That was a long few days. There are now four mothers looking forward to new ones that are soon due. Garrison School is putting ' on a play called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs .They have done so much on this, so come on out to see It. It will be presented Friday, March 27, at 2:00 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. that evening. Everyone please come. We need the support. Peggy and Lee Dllworth, Becky's parents, were here to enjoy the children and the grown ups too, from their new home way down In Texas. Bill and Lee drove to Logan on ranch business one day, and then they all went to. Salt Lake to see them off on the plane. Peg- gy even got to take a nap. Well, Fred Is once again out of the hospital and we are all home. He will get better bet-ter faster out here. Even the dogs were so homesick and the cats were happy to ; see them. Remember: Sorrow is a fruit; God does not make It grow on limbs too weak to bear it. |
