Show Early Pioneers Honored ond will include those of 1869 - 1899. Beaver County pioneers whose names have been sponsored so far include: James Eyre Banks, Ann Reese Re-ese Banks, Jesse Nathaniel Smith and Margaret F. West Smith. The public is invited to an Open House in the new building build-ing from 5 to 6 p.m. April 6. Located at 3299 E. 2920 South, it has an impressive view of Salt Lake City from the south rim of lower Parley's Par-ley's Canyon, which was the principal entry route for wagons entering the valley. Founars and early residents resi-dents of Beaver County are among those to be honored in the Memorial Hall of the new headquarters of the Sons of Utah Pioneers now under construction in Salt Lake City. The 70 foot long gallery walls will be lined with permanent per-manent plaques bearing the names of pioneer men and women who are sponsored by individuals, family groups, or businesses. Pioneers who migrated to or were born in Utah will be memorialized in two main divisions, One will include those of 1847-69 (the pre-railroad pre-railroad era), and the sec- |
