Children need to learn how to work, and what's more, they need to learn that it's I've been reading lately about the plight of our youngsters young-sters under 16, who would like to work, but can't due to the laws of the land. The papers are full of teen age problems crime, drugs, teen age everything. Seems that if it's ever been done anywhere, teens are doing it - except that if they are under age, they can't work. Many a farm boy remembers that he could pump 'Old Bossy' pretty dry by the time he was 4 or 5. Farming involved and enveloped en-veloped each member of the family no age limits were pre-determined. Numbers for those pre -registered can be picked up from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the starting line on the day of the race.
