Show Adams ville Greenville r v"v- Bessie Edwards, Bill and Emma Cunningham Cunning-ham spent several days in Quartzite, Arizona last week attending the rock show. Mr. Cunningham reported that it was very cold in Arizona, and not many were able to attend the show. The snow followed them all the way home. Orson and JoAnn Black -ner, and family, attended the Basketball game in Enterprise Enter-prise on Saturday evening. They reported much snow there also. Arthur Blackner was taken to Salt Lake City again this week to the LDS Hospital. He is now feeling better and home with his daughters again. We wish him a speedy recovery. Brent and Sandy Edwards were dinner guests at the Sam and Miriam Kerksiek's home on Thursday evening. The parents of Darrin Ferguson, as well as all of us, are happy that Darrin" won the Spelling Bee contest-at contest-at the Belknap School. We wish him well at the district level. Eugina Hutchison spent the weekend with her parents, the Clarence Hutchisons. She is attending College at Cedar City. Carolyn Williams, daughter daugh-ter of Cullen and Mary Ann Williams has completed her Beauty School training at Cedar City. She was in the northern part of the state the past week, taking her State Bar Test. She plans to work in Cedar City for a while, then perhaps she will go to Provo. Mrs. Delora Stephens visited her mother, Mrs. Rose Jessup, the past week. Donna and King Morris were happy to attend the baptism of their grandson, T.J. Morris, son of Bobby and Mike Morris, Saturday evening. On Sunday, they attended at-tended Sacrament Meeting in Beaver for his Confirm -' ation. Margaret Barton, and daughter, Danna Kaye, were in Cedar City Monday. Elmer and Rita Cosper motored to Cedar City this week, where Rita received medical attention. Sunday at Ward Sacrament Services, two babies were blessed. Daneil, daughter of Kevin and Laurie, was bless -ed by her father. Chet, son of Rex and Ranae Williams, was blessed by her father. Our Ward building was filled with friends and relatives. Those attending from out of town were: Hyrum and Flora Lee; Helen and Merrill Lee, and daughter, Lisa; Mr. and Mrs. Hal Christianson, and baby; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hughes; Reva and MiltonAl-brecht; MiltonAl-brecht; plus all of Ranae's brothers and their families. A family dinner after the meeting was held at theCul--len and Mary Ann Williams residence, with all the families attending. James and Lillian Williams, the great -grandparents were also there. Faye Fordham andAnnette Fordham, and two children, were in Cedar City on Monday. Mon-day. Tom and Becky Bartlett and three sons were dinner guests at the Brent and Sandy Edwards home on Friday. |
