Show Jeepettes hold first meeting In spite o! cold, snow and icy conditions members of the Beaver County Jeepettes Jeep-ettes from Beaver, Miners -ville and Milford met at the home of Helene Duffy on Thursday, February 1, for the purpose of reorganization reorgani-zation of the Beaver County Jeepettes. The first order of business busi-ness was the election of officers for the comingyear. Those elected are: Florence Wood, Minersville, President; Presi-dent; Leona Muncy, Beaver, Vice President; Betty Jimenez, Jim-enez, Milford, Secretary-Treasurer; Secretary-Treasurer; Kerry Gale, Beaver, and Marilee Con-nell, Con-nell, Milford, Reporter and Recreational Chairman. Projects and organizational organi-zational functions that would be beneficial to the Beaver County Sheriff's Jeep Patrol were discussed. It was announced the Jeepettes Jeep-ettes will have the opportunity oppor-tunity to take a first aid course. Those present other than the newly elected officers were: Jamie Shotwell and Judy Moss, from Beaver; Vivian Marshall and Frieda Wood, of Minersville; Helene Duffy, Mary Schaidt and Susan Atkin, from Milford. The next meeting will be held on March 1, at the home of Betty Jimenez, in Milford. |
