Show toeHii wmM mam fe A new smash hit musical comes to Beaver from Salt Lake City. After sell out productions nationwide of "Saturday's Warrior" for the past three years, author Doug Stewart has written another play. The play, "The Day The Rain Fell Up" a new major musical by Doug Stewart and Steve Amundsen, will be coming to Beaver, Saturday, Satur-day, February 10th. "The Day The Rain Fell Up" deals with the conver sion of an aspiring actress to the Mormon faith. The protagonist is confronted with the conflict between a promising career and returning re-turning to Utah to raise a family. Emphasis is placed on the social influences and alternative alter-native life styles that threaten family lie. For 'The Day The Rain Fell Up", Mr. Stewart teams with the musical genius of Steve Amundsen and releases re-leases music for the show that many say is the best of its kind. Mr. Amundsen, who recently moved to Utah from southern California, has written, arranged and conducted music for many top musical productions. He is best known for the scoring for the music of the educational edu-cational film, "The Great Dinosaur Discovery." Doug Stewart, as well as known for "Saturday's Warrior", War-rior", is famous for writing the screenplay for the award -winning motion picture, "Where the Red Fern Grows." The music and albums for the show were recorded by the National Philharmonic, in London, and was written, arranged and conducted by Mr. Amundsen. There will be two performances per-formances of "The Day The Rain Fell Up". Both will be held February 10th, a matinee at 3:00 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:30 p.m. The musical will be staged at the Beaver High School Auditorium.
