Show $msb Becky Williams I certainly hope the appearance of this column doesn't cause anyone heart failure. I know it's been too long a time since one appeared. Over the past weekend Chester, Darwin and James Wheeler, Von Rowley and Owen Gonder, all went elk hunting together. Owen was the lucky one of the group and brought the meat home. Jerry Ramsay is now working up in Bountiful during the week, and coming ; home weekends. Carolyn's folks are helping her with the store. The Lion's Club held a swap meet in Baker on Satur-'day Satur-'day and Sunday. There was a lot of nice things there. Relief Society held it's Fall Social last Tuesday, for husbands and wives.' It was a Halloween party and dinner with roast black cat heading the menu. Costumes were also worn by many. They were very original and well done, with President and Ida Tolbert really topping top-ping them all. Everyone there had a most enjoyable time. There was also a Garrison Branch social on Saturday, with dutch oven chicken and potatoes warming everyone's every-one's tummy. Blanche and Earl Yersin left Saturday to go home to Arizona. Blanche had been champing at the bit for over a week because she was so anxious to get home. My mom and dad, Lee and Peggy Dilworth, from Las Vegas, were here for the weekend. They brought my grandma, Lela Moulton, from Lomita, California, with them . It was the first time grandma had seen the twins and she was certainly impressed by them. I was so glad she could come. Last week there were more visitors from Las Vegas out here. Bob and Tracy Jones were visiting family, Ladd and PatDavies. If I am going to catch the mail, I'd better stop. Have a good week. |
