And last, but certainly cer-tainly not least, are the great, great grandparents, Earl and Essie Thompson of Milford. Linda's parents brought young Daniel Addington back from Las Vegas Saturday, where he had been visiting for a while. They attended the Thompson reunion, along with Linda's brothers, Gordon Gor-don and Rod Muir of BYU. Mrs. Altheda Gale enjoyed having her son and daughter -in law, Clair and Helen Gale, of Springville, over for dinner din-ner last Saturday. More proud grandparents in the news are Mr. and Mrs. David Reese, whose son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Lorna Reese, had a baby girl Aug. 28th. Little Kami joins a sister and brother at her Cedar City home. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Fllis Nielsen of Richfield. Thelma GilHns recently returned from a week's stay in the area of Kuna, Idaho, to see sons, Kent and Dale, and their families. While there, they were joined by Shirlene and Cammie Barnes, Bar-nes, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barnes and family, and Jim and Marlys Bohn of Beaver, for a family reunion and a trip to the Idaho State Fair. Mr. Roy Heath and Mrs. Don Heath received a several sev-eral day visit from Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Heath of North Sioux City, South Dakota. Also, Don's sister, Esther Phillips, just returned to The Dalles, Oregon, after a stay at the Heath home. Birthday wishes to Jean-ette Jean-ette Kohler's granddaughter Jocelyn Ann Kohler, who celebrated her first birthday birth-day at her home in Manti with sister, Jill Marie, brother, Kevin, parents, Ned and Joan, and of course, Grandma Kohler. Jeanette attended a lovely dinner in Milburn for school administrators admin-istrators and guests. Sanpete County is also the home of my husband, Blake's mother, Mrs. Ellis Madsen. She spent the weekend with us and returned to Fairview Monday. Two geriatric patients were able to attend sessions at the St. George Temple last week when Terry Horton drove Mrs. Kirk and Dan Rollins to St. George. Mrs. Kirk was joined by her sister sis-ter and sister-in-law from Beaver, and Dan Rollins' granddaughter, Jeri, and her husband, Rodney Ogden, of Delta, also joined the group. Mr. and Mrs. Lovell Crane, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Griffiths, and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Patterson all motored to Cedar Canyon for .dinner at the Stage StopSteak House to celebrate the-Cranes' 51st wedding anniversary and Ross's birthday. Following dinner, they all returned to the Crane home to watch the Congratulations to Mitch and Beth Fisher, grandparents grandpar-ents of baby Jeremy Landon Fisher, who was born Friday, Fri-day, Sept, lnth. I guess credit should also go to the parents, Rob and Rhonda Fisher, of Provo. Jeremy, who weighed 7 lbs. 3 oz., has a brother, i Kris, who is staying with the Fishers here in Milford for a while. Woody and Linda Adding- on also deserve congratulations con-gratulations on their baby girl, Rashelle Lynn, born Sept. 6th and weighing 7 lb. 5 oz. Grandparents include Russell and Jackie Muir of Las Vegas, Mrs. Mildred Addington of Tipton, Indiana, and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Addington, Ad-dington, also of Tipton. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn of Minersvllle, Mrs. Leonora fights on T.V. and visit. Lehman Caves and Bryce Canyon were some of the activities enjoyed by Melba White and her son, Boyd, his wife, Lorna, and daughters, daugh-ters, Cynda and Karen. They were up for two weeks from Canoga Park, Calif. Melba also just returned from a week up north visiting a sister, Shirley Brlnkhurst, a brother, Doyle Perkins and family in Provo, and another an-other brother, Warren Perkins Per-kins and family of Pleasant Grove, and a' friend, Ella Edwards, in Salt Lake. Melba also had some medical work done at the Medical Center in Salt Lake. Emma Griffiths made a quick trip to Orem andNephi to attend the reception for a niece, and stayed with Russell and Arlene Griffiths and family overnight. Weekend guests ofMr.and Mrs. Ken Hollis included Garnetta's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Newell Iverson of Delta, Mr., and Mrs. N.D. Hollis of La Mirada, California, Calvin Hollis of Long Beach, and Dr. and Mrs. Norman L. Hollis and baby of Carmel, California. Sunday, Jim and Dana Murdock and three children of Kanarraville visited Richard and Renee Davis and fam ily. From Detroit, Michigan, John and Betty Taylor came to visit Mrs. Neva Kinross and the Larry Kinross family for a week, along with other relatives up north for another week. Mr. andMrs. Ross Patterson Patter-son drove to Orem to attend a wedding reception for a niece, Sheila Patterson, who was married earlier in the day at the Provo LDS Temple to Mr. Kelly O'Neill. Philo Alvey, step -brother of Wanda Munk, came down from Payson to spend a few hours Friday evening visiting visit-ing with Wanda. On Saturday, Sept. 16, the Earl and Essie Thompson family reunion was held at the Milford City Park. They have 62 -direct descendants and 87 total family members. There were 72 present at the reunion, including three sets of five generations. Family members came from Utah, Colorado, California, Nevada and Montana. Special Spe-cial guest was ; sister of Essie, Flossie , Rickerson Mr. and Mrs. John (Anna) Roberts and three sons were at the home of Vera and Ben Cooper over the weekend to attend the Thompson Reunion. Re-union. Jimmy and Colleen James and family of Fruit Heights, Utah were weekend guests at Jimmy's parents, Bobbie and Tom James. They came down for the weddingofMel-odie weddingofMel-odie Prodzinski and Charles Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Osborne Os-borne drove to Springville last Wed. to spend a few days with family.Barbara and Frank Jones. They all enjoyed the Ice Show in Salt Lake Thursday night. Saturday friends Denise and Harvey Cooke of Los Angeles, arrived in Milford to visit with the Glenn Os-bornes. Os-bornes. Denise and Billie worked in a defense plant during the second World War. They have kept in touch these many years. |
