It was very cloudy and gloomy when we left home, but as we got to Cedar the clouds had left and the sunshine was brilliant. bril-liant. We went to Wood's Ranch for Karrie and Sue to do some tubing. There is a lot of snow there. School being out in Iron County, m any fam Hies were there en -joying the tubing, too. We had a nice picnic with hot chololate and goodies. Then went on to Brian Head. This was our first trip to a ski resort and it was certainly certain-ly worth the trip. The sky was so blue and sun so bright. There was plenty of snow and lots of people. The two lifts were busy. Karrie and Sue Ann enjoyed en-joyed skating. This was Sue's first experience on ice skates, she did really well. Karrie skates well, too. She has skated before, there was a girl 7 or 8 years old that was exceptionally exception-ally good. One thing I was so pleas -ed with was the Bunny Snow Course there for beginners. This family was there with their children. One little boy, around 5 years old, had his skis on. His dad was up at the top. When the little boy came down the course he would always fall into the snow, Dad would call out, "Are you alright, son?" He would lay there for awhile and then yell, "Yes, Dad." Then go back up and try it again. There were so many cars from Nevada and California as well as Utah. As we drove back to Cedar we saw so many deer between Summit and Cedar that had come down out of the high hills from the snow to find feed at the edge of the cedars. lUitfotb Helen Gillins 387-2612 Mrs. Cuma Goodwin, accompanied her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Jilene and husband, hus-band, David Burger, to Pro-vo Pro-vo on Friday for the BYU and Colo.
