The couple were married 50 years on Feb. 5, 1978 and have 11 children. Carma and Bernell Bruno of Murray visited their sister sis-ter and brother-in-law, lone and Max Baxter, and their mother, Mrs. Sophie Bruno, who is here for an extended stay. A sick grandson caused Ken and Sarah Myers to head for Newhalem, Oregon, two weeks ago, but their trip turned out to be a happy one since little Justin recovered quickly, and the Myers were able to visit with Blake and Diane and their Angela and Elizabeth. They were also: able to see their brand new grandson, Landon, son of, Larry and Janay Myers, who also live in Newhalem . The Ken Myers also reported re-ported that Sally andRichard Smith will be moving here from Bountiful soon. Richard will work for UP&L, and they will live in the apartment apart-ment above the old hospital. My brother, Bob Johns, was down for the weekend from Salt Lake to say hi and have some of his birthday birth-day cake. Cherie Hiatt was home for,., several days on a break from her new job as nurse in the pediatrics ward of the American Fork Hospital. Dr. and Mrs. Greg Mc- ; Ginn of Salt Lake City were down last week for the Milford Mil-ford vs. Kanab game with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert McGinn of Milford. Gilbert Gil-bert returned to Salt Lake with them in order to catch a plane with his brother, Col. McGinn, to Spencer, Indiana, In-diana, where they attended the funeral of their sister, Donna Peden. Edythe Grimshaw enjoyed having Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline and their son, Dan Gillies Gil-lies of Salt Lake and Myrtle Mills of Orem, in town for an overnight visit. Laurie ; Sullivan, after a brief visit to Milford, returned last week to Provo, where she will be working in a doctor's office. Word has been received.of the recent promotion of Mrs. LaRee Hollis, former Bank Manager of La Mirada, to assistant Vice-President District Operation of the City Natipnal Banks of Los Angeles, California. She was a 1948 graduate of Milford High School, and now resides in La M irada, C alifornia with her husband, Deloss. She is the daughter of Mr.andMrs. Earl Thompson of Milford.
