Show AMBULANCES ARE ORDERED FOR 6 COMMUNITIES I Milford's new ambulance was ordered last week, along with five other Utah communities. com-munities. By joining together togeth-er for a cooperative bid, the communities got a better price, $18,615 each, for the box-type modular units on truck chassis. Besides Milford, ambulances ambu-lances will go to Randolph, Laketown, Cedar City, and two to Davis County. Delbert J. Sperry, emergency emer-gency operations coordinator, coordina-tor, said the ambulances will come from Superior Ambulance Ambu-lance Corp., Lima, Ohio. Superior also had the low bid for six ambulances on van chassis, at $19,061 each. Two para-medic units were ordered from Prestige Vehicles, Ve-hicles, Arlington, Texas, at $24,290 each. Sperry said he hopes delivery de-livery can be made by Christmas. |
