Show Missionary conference scheduled Elder Lamar H. Stewart, a regional representative to the Council of Twelve Apostles Apos-tles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will preside at the Beaver Stake Quarterly Conference, Con-ference, Saturday and Sunday, Sun-day, August 13 and 14. The Conference will follow the theme: "Our Missionary Opportunities", and will consist con-sist of two main sessions. will be under the direction of Beaver Stake President, Paul ' K. Nielson, who along with Elder Stewart and other members of the Stake, will speak during its proceedings. Music will be furnished by the Beaver Second Ward Choir. A Saturday evening session for all adult members of the church, 19 years of age and over, will convene at 7:00 p.m., and a Sunday morning session, to which the general membership of the Stake and all other interested persons are invited, will begin at 10:00 a.m. Both sessions will be held in the Beaver Second Ward Chapel in Beaver. Elder Stewart, who presides pre-sides over the Cedar City and Panquitch Regions of the Church, has served as a Bishop and Stake President prior to his being called as a Regional Representative in 1974. A physician and surgeon, sur-geon, he is married and the father of seven children. He resides in Gunnison, Utah where he is a family physician. phy-sician.
