Show r.lSB giuos four local scholarships The Milford State Bank this week announced the recipients re-cipients of their annual scholarships, from the Mil-ford Mil-ford and Beaver High graduating grad-uating seniors. Receiving $400.00 each are: Martin McCulley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert McCulley, Mc-Culley, and Randy Hiatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay L. Hiatt, both of Milford High School, and Douglas Farnsworth, son of Mr. andMrs.F.D. Farnsworth, Farns-worth, and Julie Gillies, daughter of Mrs. Evelyn Gillies, Gil-lies, both of Beaver. Milford State Bank and its Beaver City Branch have been giving this no -strings -attached scholarship since 1969 to four deserving students. stu-dents. The scholarship was raised from $250 to $400 in 1974. It may be used at the school of their choice, and may be delayed up to one year for legitimate reasons. The Milford State Bank, which will soon open a branch in Minersville, is a supporter support-er of the county schools in all their activities as well as scholarships. |
