Show Delegates picked for convention Mass meetings in Milford were generally poorly attended at-tended in both the Democratic Democrat-ic and Republican ranks, Monday evening, according to the respective chairmen. The Democrats in Precinct Pre-cinct No. 1 re-elected Mayor May-or Roy Young, chairman; Enid En-id Johnson, vice chm.; and Pat Davis, sec. Committeemen Committee-men are Ted Bridge, Marion Mar-ion Walker, G. M. Hickman, Curtis Davis, Suzan Atkin, Beth Edwards and Phyllis Hickman. Delegates to the county convention June 8th in the county courthouse at 8:00 p.m. are; Suzan Atkin, Charles Atkin, G.M.Hickman, G.M.Hick-man, Phyllis Hickman, Warren War-ren Johnson, Enid Johnson, Roy Young, Virginia Young, Ted Bridge and John Easton. Voting for president went; Church 1, Carter 2, Brown 1, and 16 uncommitted. In the second precinct Hy-rum Hy-rum Tolley was re-elected chairman; Gayle Gale, vice chairman; and Jean Hanley, sec. Committeemen are Lola ! Banks, Marge Mecham, John Jimenez, Betty Jimenez, and Vera Cooper. In the Republican meetings Alice Baxter was elected chairman of the first precinct; pre-cinct; Ted Rimpau, vice chairman; and Pat Rimpau, secretary. Delegates to the county convention on June 11th at the county courthouse at 7:30 p.m. are: Richard Jefferson, Ted Rimpau, Pat Rimpau, Leo Finch, and Alice Baxter. In the second precinct, Ray Whiting was elected chairman; chair-man; Virginia Gustaveson, vice chairman; and Bea Ox-ley, Ox-ley, secretary. Delegates are: Whiting, Oxley, Charlotte Whiting, Arlene Malchus, Helen Cook, and Jay Gustaveson. |
