Banks, son of Mi. 1 and Mrs. Gale Banks ofMil-, ofMil-, ford, graduated from Milford l high School in 1965. He attended at-tended a year at the University Univer-sity of Utah before joining the Marine Corps. He was wounded in Vietnam in 1968 and spent six months in the Naval Hospital in Oakland, Calif. In 1969 he married the , former Diane Elaine Hall and continued his education i at the University of Utah. He graduated with a Bachelor's Bache-lor's Degree in Political Science in 1971 and received his Master's Degree in Business Bus-iness Administration in 1973. That year he joined Western West-ern Savings and Loan in Phoenix, Ariz. He was transferred trans-ferred to Tucson in 1975 and promoted to Mortgage Loan Manager. In 1976 he became Ass't. Vice President of the GARY G. BANKS As has become the custom in Milford over the past years, the 1976 Baccalau- ,....,. Gary teaches a class in' banking at the University of Arizona and was chosen as one of the Outstanding Young Men of America for 1976. He and his wife Diane have two sons, Justin Gary, 6, and Bryan Scott, 1 -12. |
