Show ' ters Thursday evening. Heb-er Heb-er lias been In Beaver helping help-ing his daughter Adele and her husband Roger Murdock move into their new home. Eulalia Davis is back home again after teing away for a few months recovering from a serious illness. We are glad to welcome her back. Mike Gillins visited a few days in Salt Lake and Provo with some missionary friends. Donna Carter, Kathaleen Davis and Rita Hugh were in provo Saturday shopping for Christmas. Mack andEdithArmstrong of Cedar City visited Sunday with Howard and Gwen Pry-or Pry-or and Grant and Blanche Pryor. Kimberly Walbeck, daughter daugh-ter of Ralph and Marilyn VValleck, was 3 years old Wednesday evening the American Legion Auxiliary and their partners held a Christmas party at the school house. Turkey, dressing, dress-ing, salads, rolls and carrot pudding was served to 50 people. The balance of the evening was spent in playing some games and volleyball. Bill and Frieda Wood drove to Chatsworth, Calif. Friday to spend the weekend week-end visiting their daughter and husband, Jim and Marilyn Mari-lyn Lurtli and baby. While there Grandpa Bill will bless and name his little grandson. Heber Gillins of St. George visited his brothers and sis- THE BAD AND BEAUTIFUL: This beautiful sunset last Saturday beckoned us up the Pass Road for this picture which really doesn't do justice In black and white. However, the scene was spoiled before it hit print, as we spotted this huge pile of brush someone had drug up the pass road and dumped just off the side of the road. We fail to under, stand why the distance to the dump from almost anyplace couldn't have been much further. We're always non-plussed when people will dump their trash where it must be obnoxious to others. Almost as bad are those who don't quite make it to the city dump. The dump roads and trails are mute testimony to those who almost made it. Homer and LaRue Harris are spending a few days in Elko, Nev. taking care of some business in that area. Darwin and Vivian Marshall Mar-shall announce the birth of a great-grandson born to Ron and Gloria (Marshall) Emery of Merced, Calif. The lad was born Dec. 3rd and weighed 12 lbs. 6 ozs. He has one other brother. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Val Marshall, Mesa, Ariz. Merle Gillins and Vie Marshall were in Salt Lake for several days visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Jolley. Jean Banks underwent surgery sur-gery in a Salt Lake hospital Tuesday for the removal of her gall bladder. Dee and Gaye Grimm and son Travis of Granger visited vis-ited over the weekend with parents, Howard and Gwen Pryor. Lee and Lynnea Marshall spent the weekend in Salt Lake visiting their daughter daugh-ter and husband, Sherrie Lynn and Jeff Taylor. Ralph and June Pearson were in Salt Lake Wednesday Wednes-day and Thursday to attend a Cattlemen's Convention. Tonya Brown, daughter of Rex and Kathy Brown, was 8 years old Tuesday, Dec. 2.
