Show $600.00 in pot for Christmas nivcanay The Milford Business Ass'n. Christmas giveaway jumped to $600.00 this week with the addition of Bud's Conoco Service to the list of participating merchants. Others participating are; the Artnik, Jefferson's, Milford Mil-ford State Bank, SMR , Hughes Style Shoppe, Altman's, Bailey's Chevron Service, Sam's Furniture, John's Sinclair Service, Western Auto Store and Lee's Corner Corn-er Drug. Santa is scheduled to visit vis-it on Saturday, Dec. 20, with candy and goodies for the kiddies. He will arrive via airplane with Ben Briscoe at pilot and the fire engine will escort him from the airport to the old Beaver County Clinic office where he will talk to youngsters. Just pick up and deposit your coupons at any of these fine Milford merchants. After several attempts to contact Santa at the North Pole, the Lady Lions have finally made arrangements for him to be here on December De-cember 20th with candy and goodies for the kiddies. They also plan to conduct their lighting contest with two divisions; commercial and residential. Those who wish to compete should have their displays up by Dec. 13. Jo Killam and Bonnie East-on East-on are again preparing a community Christmas program pro-gram with lots of local talent, tal-ent, on December 23rd at the high school auditorium. |
