The next time you're having hav-ing friends over, make this fancy Party-Go-Round Cheese Spread. The base is a tasty cheese spread which is prepared the day before. Savory toppings go on just before serving. It's not hard to make, but looks pretty and looks as if you made a special effort. Set out with whole wheat TRISCUIT Wafers and SOCIABLES Crackers. Watch your guests dig in and watch it disappear. PARTY-GO-ROUND CHEESE SPREAD 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (8-ounce) Gouda cheese, grated 1 cup dairy sour cream 12 teaspoon onion powder 12 pint cherry tomatoes, halved 2 hard-cooked eggs, finely chopped 1 (3-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained Parsley sprigs SNACK MATE Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread Cheddar, optional TRISCUIT Wafers SOCIABLES Crackers Beat cream cheese until smooth. Blend in next three ingredients. ingre-dients. Line bottom of a 9-inch layer cake pan with wax paper. Spread cheese mixture evenly in pan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Loosen edges with spatula and invert on serving plate. Peel off wax paper. Working from outside edge, make one ring each of tomato halves, cut side down, chopped eggs and mushroom slices. Arrange parsley sprigs in center. Cover and refrigerate. Just before serving, decorate edge with cheese spread, if desired. Serve with TRISCUIT Wafers and SOCIABLES Crackers. Makes 1 (9-inch) round.
