LITTLE LEAGUE SCHEDULE SEES MAJOR CHANGES Playing mostly double-headers double-headers and with a shot of new blood from neighboring Minersville, the Mllford Little Lit-tle League Assn. got under way last week. The double-headers will condense the usually drawn out season to about six weeks and keep the interest high from start to finish, it's hoped. Minersville entering the league is the culmination of several years efforts by members of the Milford organization. or-ganization. Barbara Mayer, President, was instrumental in working out the red tape with national headquarters. The infusion of new blood came just in time, since Milord's roster had dwindled dwin-dled with a bad year for boys, and the league would have had to be cut to three teams. With 22 boys signed up for the 8 year old farm team, the league should again be healthy next year. Shortage of personnel also al-so forced dropping of the Sr. Division this year. If s hoped the slack can be taken up by the Community Softball Soft-ball League.
