Ranae Ellliams, Cedar City, was here Friday night to attend the graduation of her sister, Jill Albrecht and foster brother, Steve Nelson. Visiting Joe and Bernice Ashley for a few days is a niece and her husband, Willie and Shirley (Brad-shaw) (Brad-shaw) Ideen and family, Lincoln, Lin-coln, Nebraska. Shirley is a daughter of Claude Brad- shaw. Calvin and Bonnie Albrecht Al-brecht and daughter drove to Freedonia, Arizona to spend Memorial Day with their mother, Konda Button and family. Kent and Joy Benson and family, Ogden, visited a few days with their sister and brother-in-law, Clark and Mary Gillins. BRAIN FOOD? Well, Chinese Scholars do alright on it and these Scholars from all the schools in Beaver County didn't fool around over the luscious Hong Kong fare. The top scholars of each class were treated to a Chinese dinner by the Beaver County School Board in Milford last Wednesday, May 22. Dinner guests Sunday of Ruben and Emily Dotosn were Bryce and Jean Gale and family, Nick and Colleen Dotson and family all of Beaver, Danny andFay Price and family, Gary and April Elmer and family all of Pocatello, Idaho, Alice Elmer El-mer and Cree Elmer of Mil-ford. Mil-ford. Mac McKenzie of Calif, visited the Dotson family and many friends for a couple cou-ple of days during the week. George Marquardson of Ely visited a few days with his sisters, Lola Roberts and Myrl Potter and an aunt, Loneva Banks. Dean and Bobby Parsons Monroe was here for a few days visiting their mother, Isabell Kelsey. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Potter and family were here Saturday Sat-urday visiting at the Paul Potter home. Joey Thompson, son of Mark and Vickie Thompson, was 5 years old Thursday. He had a party to celebrate. Jay and Lela Orton, Spanish Span-ish Fork, were here for a few days visiting Lela's father, Mervin and Ada Edwards. Karl and Phyllis Truman announce the birth of a grandson born to Ron and Annette Mayer in Salt Lake City, Saturday, May 25th. Other grandparents are Gene and Barbara Mayer, Milford. Chris and Marilee Eyre, and son of Provo were here for the graduation of Chris's brother, Bryant Eyre. Kenneth and Debbie Hol-lingshead Hol-lingshead and family ofDec-lo, ofDec-lo, Idaho, Doug and Mada-lyn Mada-lyn Neilson and baby, Salt Lake City, Clyde and Marsha Mar-sha Harding and family, Ed-dar Ed-dar City, were all here for the graduation of their brother, bro-ther, Chad Hollingshead. The Honor Students from Minersville who attended the Honor Banquet Wednesday evening at the Hong Kong Cafe were 12th grade -Bartt Hollingshead, son of Keith and Shirley Hollingshead; 11th grade - Denise Wood, daughter of Vern and Florence Flor-ence Wood; 10th grade -Jolyn Dotson, daughter of Ruben and Emily Dotson; Idaho was blessed and given the name of Amy Joe by her father. The prayers were given by Newell Carter and Neil Hollingshead. All the children of Neal and Helen Davis were home over the weekend. They were Mr. and Mrs. Clark Davis and family, Pleasant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Davis and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben (Glenna) Blake and family and Jackie Davis all of Salt Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Rickard Davis of Milford. Mil-ford. Susan Edwards andfamily, Beaver, spent Sunday visiting visit-ing her parents, Alton and Virginia Marshall. Steve Nelson and a friend, Charlie Bowie, of Lupton, Arizona are visiting a couple of weeks with Steve's foster parents, Milton and Reva Albrecht. Steve also graduated grad-uated from Beaver HighFri-day HighFri-day night. Denise Wood, daughter of Vern and Florence Wood, took 4th place in the javelin Fred and Lucille Critser, Las Vegas, are visiting their sister, Mildred (Dohn) Martin. Mar-tin. Dixie Pearson's brother and his wife from Salt Lake City stopped in FTiday night. Saturday morning they and Raul and Dixie and boys went to Caliente to spend the weekend with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Baker. Sunday in Sacrament meeting the speakers were Michael Roberts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Coy Roberts of McMinnvllle, Ore. He is a returned missionary. A missionary from Cedar City, Sister Susan Seegmiller and Jack Carter, Cedar City were also speakers. Bill and Gayle Peterson and children, Salt Lake City, were here for the graduation gradua-tion of their sister, Lyla Truman. Howard and Gwen Pryor motored to West Jordon over the weekend to visit Dee and Gaye Grimm and son Travis. Betty Calder of Salt Lake City, a niece of Mildred and Dohn Martin, visited a few days. Afterwards the game of Hearts was played. Max and Anna Rae Carter were in Roosevelt Thursday and Friday on business. Charles and Virgene Jameson and Delbert and Ef-fie Ef-fie Jameson traveled to Santaquin Wednesday to attend at-tend the funeral of a cousin, EmmaRobbins.
