Show REN BRISCOES'S ATTEND FUNERAL IN ILLINOIS Mr. and Mrs. Ben Briscoe have returned to their home after attending the funeral of Mrs. Briscoe's mother, Mrs. Lewis E. Sage, 78, who passed away Sunday, Sept. 5th in the Community Memorial Hospital in Mammoth, 111. Mrs. Sage was a frequent visitors at the home of the Briscoe's. Having Hav-ing lost her son, Leonard, in action in World War II. she was the last Gold Star mother of the World War II Mother's organization of Mammouth. During one of her visits here, she became ill and entered the new Milford Valley Memorial Hospital and was the first patient pa-tient to occupy room No. 5 which was furnished by the Past Presidents of the Milford Legion. Auxiliary. The World War II Mothers held a Memorial Service in her honor on Tuesday evening before be-fore the funeral. She is survived surviv-ed by 7 children, 40 grand' chaldren, 44 great grandchildren grandchil-dren and one great great grandchild, and a brother, Kenneth Ken-neth McGuire of Kentucky. |
