Show other than petty bickering if the mayor andor ciy council want to convey a message to the city taxpayers. There is a lot of concern about horses being infected by mcsquitoes, well gentlemen, lok in the back alleys andor front streets of your town, you will see filthy garbage in. and around and on top of garbage cans. I strongly suggest this un-sa.nitary un-sa.nitary situation be rectified before our children and pets suffer. Yours truly, Ralf M. Kleine, P. Eng. DEAR EDITOR July 28, 1971 Mayor Mayer and City Council City of Milford Milford, Utah 84751 Dear City Fathers: It was my understanding that the "Dustman" (that's an old English term for the gar-bageman) gar-bageman) "cometh but twice each week." HOWEVER During the last 8 days he never "cometh at all." The point I am trying to make is this: You profess, talk and give the populace to ur derstand that you want Milford Mil-ford to be a clean city and yet, the most filthy thing garbage gar-bage is left about in 100 degree heat to rot and stink-up stink-up our town, say nothing of the unsightly garbage left on the street or curb. If garbage is to be picked-up twice a week, let's have it done. It it can't be done, inform in-form the populace so that sanitary sani-tary action can be taken by individuals. I am sure that the local editor ed-itor will print information |
