Martha is the daughter of Ken and lone Farrer, Far-rer, former school teachers in Minersville and Milford. The newlyweds spent Saturday with the Woods, enroute to Phoenix, Ariz. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins last week were Merle's family, Mr. and Mrs. Milt Jolley. Several decendants of Mr. and Mrs. Henry R. Gillins held a family gathering Wednesday evening at the Stock Show Park. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Rodgers, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Barnes, and family; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barnes, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Thompson and children all of Milford. Mrs. Vie Marshall and children chil-dren spent a few days last week in Salt Lake at the home of her mother, Mr. and Mrs. Miii Jolley. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Limb and family of Vernal spent the weekend at the home of parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Limb. to Leland Kenneth Banks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wells Banks, Minersville. The couple will be married August 7th in the St. George LDS Temple. A reception will be held the same evening at the Seventh Ward Cultural Hall, Cedar City. Graveside services were held Monday. August 2.nd at the Minersville Cemetary for Mrs. Hazel Carter Young, 86, of Salt Lake. She was the sister of Mr. Horace Carter and was born and raised in Minersville. Mrs. Penny Milner and son, Dickie, Kingston, Jamaca have moved in the Imanda Nolder home. Mrs. Milner is a great-granddaughter great-granddaughter of Mrs. Nolder and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Pryor. Mrs. Carla Mcintosh and and children, Salt Lake, Mrs. Joan Ashworth and children, Ely. Nev., and Mrs. Geneice Barnson and children, Ruth, Nev. are spending a week at the family home. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Banks, Garden Grove, Calif, have been visiting relatives in town. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Davis, Provo, visited with Mrs. Imanda Iman-da Nolder lastweek. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Pearson, Mrs. Bessie Pearson and Wyno-na, Wyno-na, Mrs. Ella Wood and Mr. Horace Corbidge attended the Golden Wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sehmeltz at Circle-ville. Circle-ville. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pryor were in Ely Sunday. Howard played in a golf tournament and they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Limb. Michelle Carter, daughter of Mr. a.nd Mrs. Allen Carter, had a birthday party Saturday, July 31 to help her celerate her 8th birthday. |
