Show MHS MATMEN HAVE TIGHT MAT SCHEDULE AHEAD Milford wrestlers came up against another strong team this last week from Millard county a id took a 45-8 team loss, but their just wasn't that much difference between the two teams. A number of the matches were very close and could have went either way. The way wrestling is scored, a pin is worth three points and a decision 3 points with the loser getting a big fat goose-egg. goose-egg. The only instance where both teams can score is on a draw when each wrestler gets 2 points. Consequently the matches can be very good, and very close and still have a very lopsided score. Hanley and McCulley were the only team members able to : come up with a win, both on decisions. Vineyard managed a ; draw with his opponent. ; Milford also wrestled at Cedar Ced-ar City Wednesday night, but results were not available at press time. The Tigers wrestle at Beaver ' tonight. They beat Beaver on the home mats. 1 On Monday, Jan. 25 they tangle with Panguich at Pang-uich Pang-uich for their first meeting this year. |
