Show C Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline, Mr. and Mrs. Kimmel Coon and Mrs. Edythe Grimnhaw were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman in Beaver. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson are now at home after a ten day trip. They were in La Mirada, Calif., at the home of a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Delos Hollis and children, and the Thompsons stopped in Las Vegas en route home for two days. O Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter have returned from a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baxter and family in Montrose, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Atkin and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Gilliam will attend the National Jeep Patrol Beard meeting in Las Vegas this week end. 9 Patricia Williams will leave Thursday for Henderson, Nev. She will be with her daughter Mrs. Sallie Chaffin and be present when her grandson Jimmy Earl undergoes a tonsillectomy ton-sillectomy operation. S Mrs. Florence Barnes was the hostess for the GIA last Thursday aftrnoon. Bridge and pinochle, were played. Prizes were won by Mrs. Kate McDonald, Mc-Donald, Mrs. Mae Colborn, Mrs. Marvel Connell and Mrs. Ester Blake. Others enjoying the occasion oc-casion wore Mrs. Vella Stephn-scn Stephn-scn of Minrsville, Mrs. Garnet Garfield, Mrs. Margaret Lund and Mrs. Ethel Smi'ih. t) Jim and Diane Betschart and two ch'ldren from Riverside, Calif., were here for several days of last week visiting with an aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Alden Johnson, and Sandra San-dra and Steve. e Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sherwood Sher-wood of American Fork were here to attend their son"s, Dan-ney, Dan-ney, Junior Prom. Danny stays with Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans. The Sherwoods siayed at the home of the Evans while here. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Duard Evans have purchased the Karl Rum-mler Rum-mler home on 637 South 400 West. Mrs. Grace Sandzrs will return re-turn to her home in Salt Lake after visting a week with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lund. Mike and Penny Wisner and new son Marcus Dean of Las Vegas were here over the week end at the homes of parents Mr. and Mrs. George Sears and Mr. and Mrs. Don Wisner They also visted with Penny's grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Lillian Page at the Milford Valley Hospital, and attended the Junior Prom Saturday. Sat-urday. Mike's sister Michelle is a Junior. C Merrill and Joyce Moody and four children of Murray spent last week end with Joyce's twin sister and family Sherman' and Janice Myers and children. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rose received word from their son Rick from Okinawa. Rick will be home in May and will receive re-ceive a discharge from the Army at that time. He is in the M. P. He plans to visit Bangkok, Thailand, before embarking em-barking for the States. O Wayne and Carol Wiseman cf Salt Lake were here over the week end at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne C. Wiseman. Mr. and Mrs. Lovar G. Red-ford, Red-ford, Mr. and Mrs. Lewie Bruer of SeaUle, Wash., ?ame to be here when the Redfords' daughter, daugh-ter, Miss Karlene Redford, and Mr. Hal Edwards were married in the St. George Temple April 10th. A sister of Mr. Edwards, Mrs. Gale Mollingshaus and two children, Mark and Susan, are also here for the wedding and she will remain for the reception re-ception scheduled for April 18. 9 Del and Dorothy Newdigate have returned to Milford. Mr. Newdigate is employed at the SMR lumber yard. Mrs. Bonnie Easton plans to spend a few days of this week in Las Vegas with her husband John. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Lamb are in San Francisco attending the National Convention of the Board of Education, e Mr.. and Mrs. R. C. Willyard announce the birth of a new grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Reed Willyard on April 11th in Germany. The couple also have a 4 year old daughter Kimberly Ann. e It was good to see Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Simpkins of Las Vegas. They were here last Friday. Mrs. Simpkins came to see a doctor. Mrs. Joan Holland underwent! surgery Wednesday morning in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Ralf Kleine will leave this week end for Toronto, Canada, where they will attend a minng convention, conven-tion, and they will also be in Milwaukee where Mr. Kleine will attend to mining business. Mr. and Mrs. J. Calorie of Bellflower, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jones of Copperton were here over the week end visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Wal-lace Fotheringham and Doug Fotheringham. They were house guests of the Wally Fothering-hams. Fothering-hams. Mrs. Calorie is a sister ot Doug Fotheringham and an aunt of Wally's. |
